The scraper is built around the 12 numbered steps in its manual. Line up the matching notch with the part, then work in the motion shown. The tool is for the disassembled bolt carrier group, not for the chamber or barrel.

No. The scraper is built for bolt carrier group parts. It is not a chamber or barrel cleaning tool.
The scraper is made for AR-15 platform bolt carrier group parts. We do not list it for other platforms, so if your bolt carrier group is not an AR-15 design, do not rely on it.
It installs and removes front sight nuts that take a 3/16″ hex driver, including many Glock-style front sights. Check your sight’s nut size before you order.
