AC398 Cartridge Removal Tool: Setup & Install Video

Install video: coming soon. Until then, follow the steps below (same as the printed manual).

1. Turn off the water supply. Remove the faucet handle and trim pieces.
2. Remove the retainer clip from the valve body.
3. Place the tool over the cartridge with the tabs between the cartridge ears.
4. Thread the drive screw into the brass stem and tighten it with the Allen wrench.
5. Turn the T-handle in the direction of the TWIST arrow until the cartridge is almost out, then pull straight.
6. Flush the valve body before installing the new cartridge.
