A pass-through socket has an open center, so a long bolt, stud or strut rod slides up through the socket while it seats fully on the nut. This 17-piece metric set gives you 13 hollow sockets from 10 to 24 mm, a pass-through ratchet, an extension and two adapters, all in one size-marked case.
Every socket shares the same 19 mm outer hex, so you can also turn any of them with a 19 mm wrench (not included) where the ratchet will not fit.
The set does not include 20 mm or 23 mm sockets, and it has no SAE sizes.

No. This is a hand tool set. Use it with the included ratchet or a 19 mm wrench, not with impact or power tools.
No. Pass-through sockets have no square drive hole, so a standard 3/8 in or 1/2 in ratchet will not fit them. Drive them with the included pass-through ratchet, or with a 19 mm wrench on the outer hex.
They let the pass-through ratchet drive your own standard 3/8 in or 1/2 in sockets (not included). With an adapter fitted, the set no longer works as a pass-through tool.
No. The sizes are 10 to 19, 21, 22 and 24 mm, metric only.
A deep socket is closed at the drive end, so a stud longer than the socket stops it from reaching the nut. A pass-through socket is open all the way, so a long stud can pass up through it while the socket seats on the nut.
Yes, that is the main reason to use a pass-through socket: the rod comes up through the socket and ratchet, so you can hold it while you turn the nut. Before you remove a strut top nut, follow your vehicle's service manual and make sure the spring is safely compressed. Remove all tools from the engine bay and suspension before driving.
Warranty: the set comes with a 1-year warranty. Scan the QR code on the card in the manual and register your set to extend it to 3 years in total.
